The Red Dress

The dress that Scarlett wears to Ashley's birthday party was described in the book as " ...her new jade-green watered-silk dress. It was cut low over the bosom and the skirt was draped back over an enormous bustle and on the bustle was a huge bunch of pink velvet roses. Walter Plunkett got Margaret Mitchell's permission to change the color to scarlet.

There have been various doll sizes made in this costume from 8" to 21".
