Vivien Leigh as Scarlett O'Hara

Scarlett O'Hara dolls have been made by Madame Alexander since 1937.  This was two years before the movie was released in 1939.

There have been three costumes used more than others for the Scarlett dolls. The costume used most often has been the "Picnic Gown" (green & white gown with straw hat and parasol that she wore to the Barbecue at Twelve Oaks). The other two costumes used often have been the white dress with tiers of ruffles that she wears in the opening scenes of the film, and the "Curtain Dress" (green velvet made from her mother's portieres).
