Author, doll historian and designer, Laura Meisner's inspiration to design Prima Donna Cissy came straight from runway couture. Prima Donna Cissy is a modern costume with influences of the "Teen" and "Titanic" periods. Cissy, always staying true to tradition, is dressed in a grey wool coat with detailed embroidery and beading around the hem, and a slim black silk jacquard skirt lined in pink silk. Her elaborate and dramatic hat is decorated with a silk bow and draped with black veiling. The chantilly lace shawl and walking stick complete this limited couture ensemble.
