In a nod to 'Fifities
chic, Maimey Cissy wears an outfit that would have been
equally at home at a cocktail party or dinner at the club.
She is stunning in a sleeveless pale blue silk shantung
dress with a round neck and a broad, flared skirt. The
bodice of the dress is form-fitting and decorated with a
beaded and pearl appliqué of a floral bouquet. This same
applique, as well as individual blossoms, are scattered
over the folds of the skirt, catching the light with the
slightest movement. Beneath, lace-trimmed petticoats add
ballast to the skirt and sheer white hose and white
open-toed heels tie the look together. Over her shoulders
Cissy wears a hand-knit cropped white cardigan with
openwork crochet detail around the jewel neck. Accessories
include a double rope of pearls and coordinating pearl
dangle earrings. Cissy's embroidered evening bag has a
pearl handle and perfectly matches her dress. Maimey Cissy
has violet eyes and wears her shiny black hair in a sleek
bob topped by a small steel blue pussycat bow. |
